Produced by the cutting-edge art collective teamLab, teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM.com is a museum of digital art where you can literally walk in water. Visitors remove their shoes and make their way through a variety of installations, including a space where they can walk through water with digital carp swimming on an infinitely expanding surface, and another room enveloped by countless flowers that bloom and change moment by moment as time passes. Since the artworks react to people’s movements and change constantly, visitors can enjoy a unique, immersive experience, where their bodies become part of the artwork.

teamLab Planets has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the art museum with the highest number of visitors worldwide for a single art group, so advance reservations are highly recommended.

After your visit, take the Yurikamome line from the nearby Shin-Toyosu Station to Odaiba Seaside Park.

Watch the spectacular Tokyo Aqua Symphony fountain show

Watch the spectacular Tokyo Aqua Symphony fountain show
Tokyo Aqua Symphony

Tokyo Aqua Symphony in the water off Odaiba Seaside Park is one of the world’s largest fountains, and is considered one of the highlight programs of ARTE TOKYO.

The installation is composed of a fountain that shoots water up to 150 meters high, and another 250-meter-wide fountain inspired by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s official flower, the Somei Yoshino cherry blossom. Spectators can enjoy watching the shapes of the water change in tune with the music.

After nightfall, the illuminated fountain stands out against the waterfront. Nearby landmarks such as the Rainbow Bridge also add to the striking sight.

Additionally, at Odaiba Beach, the park’s artificial sandy beach, Alloscape and The Sea Hammock—both core programs of ARTE TOKYO—will be on display from November 7 to December 31, 2026. These art installations can be viewed at night, so we recommend stopping by to see them along with the fountains.

After taking in the Tokyo Aqua Symphony fountain show, continue to AQUA CiTY Odaiba, adjacent to Odaiba Seaside Park, for dinner.

This complex features a wide variety of restaurants serving Japanese, Western, Chinese, and Korean cuisine. One of its draws is that you can choose a restaurant based on your mood that day.

Some restaurants at AQUA CiTY Odaiba offer views of the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay, allowing you to savor your meal at a leisurely pace while gazing at the sparkling night view of Odaiba.

After finishing dinner at AQUA CiTY Odaiba, you can head over to DECKS Tokyo Beach, just a short walk away, and take a leisurely stroll while admiring the illuminated surroundings.

DECKS Tokyo Beach is a mixed-use commercial complex facing Odaiba Seaside Park. It’s designed to resemble a luxury cruise ship, featuring outdoor walkways reminiscent of ship decks and ship-themed decorations throughout the facility.

On the Seaside Deck, an outdoor walkway on the third floor, the Odaiba Illumination “Yakei” is on display year-round. Be sure to look up at the Odaiba Memorial Tree, a massive 20-meter-tall living tree that is decorated luminously throughout the year.

Soak in the afterglow of dinner, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy the glittering lights as you wrap up your evening on the waterfront.
