Waseda Shochiku
This arthouse theater in Takadanobaba is one of the few remaining in Tokyo that specialize in screening older movies. Cinematic masterpieces and movies that have finished their theatrical runs are shown year-round, most typically as double features. The program changes weekly, and a single ticket grants admission to both movies. A discount applies for the final screening of the day. There’s an intermission between the first and second features, so you can step outside or take some time to relax before diving into another movie.
