Toyosu Market
One of the markets powering Tokyo’s world-class food scene, Toyosu is the largest wholesale market in Japan. It primarily handles seafood such as fish and shellfish, along with produce including fruit and vegetables. While it serves mainly food professionals, there are designated public viewing areas. Note that viewing the popular tuna auctions requires pre-registration online. Be sure to also explore the Uogashi Yokocho shopping area for general visitors and the many restaurants on the premises.
