Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observatories

The observatories are located on the 45th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government No. 1 Building. The South Observatory is open until night, allowing you to see the lights of Shinjuku Park Tower, Tokyo Opera City, and other Shinjuku skyscrapers for free. It also has a cafe.

Closings
South Observatory: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month (or the following weekday if it's a national holiday), and other days.
North Observatory: 2nd and 4th Monday of the month (or the following weekday if it's a national holiday), and other days.
Fees
Free for both the South and North Observatories.
