Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions 2026

The 2026 edition of this annual art festival, also known as “Yebizo,” will be held at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum and nearby locations such as Yebisu Garden Place. This year’s theme is “Polyphonic Voices Bathed in Sunlight.” With Yu-Hsuan Chiu serving as lead curator, the festival envisions a polyphonic space of resonance where light and sound intertwine, inspired by concepts rooted in the Taiwanese language. You can look forward to a diverse array of works across genres including photography, video, sound, and performance, in addition to solo exhibitions by Commission Project Special Prize winners, special public viewings of works from the Tokyo Museum Collection, and local collaboration programs.
