UENO JAZZ INN'26
UENO JAZZ INN'26 is an annual midsummer jazz festival that has been held outdoors since 1986 as part of the Ueno Summer Festival. In 2026, the festival will feature the UENO SPECIAL Quartet, led by renowned drummer Shun Ishiwaka, as well as the instrumental band toconoma, the Showa University of Music big band Lily Jazz Orchestra, and the Grand Prix winners of the 2025 Asakusa Jazz Contest. With a diverse lineup ranging from professional to elite amateur musicians, the festival invites you to enjoy authentic jazz in Ueno Park at the height of summer. To prevent long lines from forming and thus reduce the risk of heatstroke among visitors, numbered tickets determining the order of entry will be distributed at the venue entrance starting at 1 P.M. on the day of the event.
