Roppongi Crossing 2025: What Passes Is Time. We Are Eternal.

Roppongi Crossing is a triennial exhibition by the Mori Art Museum that seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of Japan’s contemporary art scene. Its eighth edition has been curated by a pair of internationally recognized guest curators from mainland Asia, who have worked alongside the museum’s own curatorial team. Focusing on the subject of time, the exhibition showcases 21 artist groups—a selection that includes both artists working in Japan and artists with Japanese roots based overseas. The exhibition brings together over 100 diverse and vibrant artworks, ranging from paintings, sculptures, and video works to handicrafts, zines, and community projects.
