“PMA TOKYO (Tokyo International Projection Mapping Award) Vol. 11,” one of Japan’s largest international projection mapping contests, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight as part of the international arts and culture festival ARTE TOKYO. Serving as the venue is a massive inverted-triangle exterior wall at the conference center’s Congress Tower, measuring 94 meters wide and 30 meters high. The theme for this 11th edition of the contest is “ReBORN.” Up-and-coming creators from around the world will breathe new life into the architecture with the expressive power of light and video. The final judging and awards ceremony will take place at the end of the day, when the Grand Prix winner will also be announced. The winning works are scheduled to be screened regularly at Tokyo Big Sight thereafter. Be sure to witness this dynamic interplay of light and imagery dancing across the night sky.
