The experimental museum MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives opened at TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY on March 28, 2026. This exhibition, part of the museum's opening program, explores the story of how the museum came into being. Documents, sketches, interviews, and videos are employed to explore the history of Takanawa—the historic site of Japan’s first railway—as well as the process of trial and error undertaken by the team behind the museum building, including architect Kengo Kuma and the British design studio Pentagram.
