A Christmas tree approximately 10 meters tall, created by the art studio EMISSION led by light artist Takahiro Matsuo, has appeared on the grand staircase in the atrium of Omotesando Hills. Light from approximately 1,000 prism elements illuminates the space. The installation also incorporates a lighting system that garnered attention at the Osaka-Kansai Expo: A special performance takes place every 20 minutes, with 48 spheres forming a ring of light that dances in sync with music.
