Nakano-dori Street Cherry Blossom Illuminations

The cherry blossoms along Nakano-dori Street are a beloved spring tradition in Nakano. The avenue of approximately 320 cherry trees is often called a "cherry blossom tunnel," offering beautiful scenery that stretches for about 2 kilometers from JR Nakano Station to Tetsugakudo Park. This year again, in addition to the illumination of the cherry trees, traditional paper lanterns will be displayed along certain sections. Please come and enjoy the enchanting sight of the night-time cherry blossoms glowing in the soft light.

Note: This event is sponsored in part by the Spring Illuminations Model Business Grant, a program run jointly by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government & the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau.
