Kanda Myojin Kousai-Emaki ~Japanese Culture Illuminated by Light~
The grounds of Kanda Myojin offer a “stage of light” beautifully illuminated for a magical atmosphere. Each night’s on-stage performances showcase different types of traditional Japanese culture, and visitors are welcome to not just observe but also participate. Historical Kanda Myojin Shrine’s magnificent atmosphere and the beautiful lighting create an unforgettable night. We also recommend taking a night stroll using the digital map, which features great nighttime photo spots around the shrine. Fill out the questionnaire, and you can even enjoy receiving a fashionably designed handheld lantern (first-come, first-served). Lantern in hand, enjoy a relaxing nighttime stroll.
Note: This event is sponsored by the Tokyo Nightlife Tourism Grant, a program run jointly by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention and Visitors Bureau.
