A popular winter tradition in Tokyo sees the approximately 400-meter stretch of Roppongi Keyakizaka-dori Street at Roppongi Hills illuminated in glittering white and blue. Inspired by a world of silver snow, this year’s theme is “SNOW&BLUE,” with approximately 970,000 LED lights illuminating the tree-lined avenue. The event runs from November 5 to December 25, with the lights on daily from 5 PM to 10 PM. The areas near the Emporio Armani store and Roppongi Tsutaya Bookstore along Roppongi Keyakizaka-dori Street are popular photo spots, where you can capture both the illuminations and Tokyo Tower in a single shot. During the event, visitors can also enjoy the Christmas market nearby, champagne-gold illuminations at 66 Plaza, and light displays at Mohri Garden.
