Yomiuriland Jewellumination
This annual light-up event at the Yomiuriland amusement park in the western city of Inagi is produced by the internationally renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii. The park is adorned with dazzling LED lights inspired by the colors of precious gemstones. The sub-theme for 2026 is “Growing Light.” A new color, “Growing Green Jewelry,” inspired by the Earth’s precious greenery, has been introduced, further enriching the display. Furthermore, a new experience allowing visitors to step inside three-dimensional installations will make its debut. Don’t miss the massive 15-meter-high circular water screen display or the spectacular fountain show featuring lasers and flames. Another highlight is the chance to enjoy the illuminations aboard the park’s many rides.
