An exhibition featuring masterpieces from the Itsuo Art Museum, which bears the pen name “Itsuo” of Ichizo Kobayashi, the entrepreneur known as the founder of the Hankyu Toho Group. On display are carefully selected masterpieces from the museum’s collection of 5,500 items, including fragments of waka poetry anthologies and narrative works from the Heian (794–1185) to Kamakura (1185–1333) periods, tea ceremony utensils, and paintings by Yosa Buson and Go Shun. The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy a collection of art that reflects the character of Ichizo Kobayashi, a man who was rich in pioneering spirit and consistently dedicated to sharing beauty with others.
