Megurogawa River Sakura Illuminations 2026: Gotanda Yozakura
From Thursday, March 19 to Sunday, April 12, the "Megurogawa River Sakura Illuminations 2026: Gotanda Yozakura" will be held at Gotanda Fureai Mizube Hiroba in Shinagawa City, a relaxing waterfront space along the Megurogawa River. Visitors can leisurely admire the illuminated cherry blossoms from the park's artificial turf area and waterfront square. Additionally, the cherry trees facing the Megurogawa River will feature special color lighting three times a day (at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM / lasting about 10 minutes per session). You can also view the blossoms from cruise ships sailing down the river, allowing for a highly exclusive cherry blossom viewing experience from the water. Come and enjoy the yozakura (night cherry blossoms) in this soothing oasis nestled among the buildings of Gotanda.
Note: This event is sponsored in part by the Spring Illuminations Model Business Grant, a program run jointly by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government & the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau.
