25th Dream Yosacoy Matsuri

One of Tokyo’s largest Yosakoi dance festivals sees some 5,000 performers from across Japan and overseas gather in Odaiba on November 7 and 8 to perform in the tradition of the Yosakoi Naruko Dance, a style that originated in Kochi Prefecture on the island of Shikoku. Held for the first time in 2002, the festival marks its 25th anniversary this year and is expecting around a million visitors. Venues include four locations in Odaiba, including the Statue of Liberty venue and the Fuji TV venue. There will be all-new performances to mark the 25th anniversary, including a collaboration with the Tokyo Aqua Symphony fountain show off the coast of Odaiba.
