Oiran Night Rock ―The Pulse of Tradition
The Asakusa Night Festival is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in Asakusa’s Rokku Broadway shopping district. This event brings even more excitement to nighttime Asakusa, where visitors can enjoy lights, music, food, drinks and entertainment. On nights when the Asakusa Night Festival is held, you can also enjoy a free entertainment show called “Oiran Night Rock — The Pulse of Tradition” featuring Japanese instrumental and non-verbal performances. There is also a special version of this show, called “Oiran Night Rock — The Pulse of Tradition Special Night Show,” held about once a month. You won’t want to miss this exciting nighttime Asakusa experience.
Note: This event is sponsored by the Tokyo Nightlife Tourism Grant, a program run jointly by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention and Visitors Bureau.
