The Banquet of Old Man Shibusawa (Shibusawa-o no Bansankai)


Projection mappings (or video mappings) add excitement to the nightlife of Tokyo with lighting and sound.
As part of the cityscape, impressive and captivating projection mapping will continue to be an integral part of night-time sightseeing in Tokyo.
The Projection Mapping Tokyo Prize was established to recognize outstanding night-time projection mapping attractions in Tokyo.

*Application period is now closed.Municipalities, tourism associations, chambers of commerce, private business operators, other legal entities and organizations that have hosted or offered projection mapping in Tokyo.
Notes:
- Religious corporations and organizations whose main activity purpose is a religious or political activity are not eligible for submission.
- Applications from individuals are not accepted.
Projection mappings displayed in Tokyo by eligible parties from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025.
Notes:
- A projection mapping here refers to images projected on three-dimensional objects such as structures according to the shape of the objects primarily by using projectors.
- There are no restrictions on the location (outdoor, indoor), scale, admission fees, projection period, number of projections, projection duration time, or genre (CG, animation, etc.) of the projection mapping.
- Projection mapping hosted by Tokyo Metropolitan Government Policy Collaborating Organizations are not eligible.
Prizes will be sent to three or so particularly outstanding projection mappings from all applications.
Prize winning projection mapping displays will be published
on the Projection Mapping Tokyo Prize website.
