The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (“TCVB”) are organizing the “My Tokyo Night Route Instagram Posting Campaign” (the “Campaign”) to showcase Tokyo nights to both domestic and international travelers and to establish Tokyo’s image as a city offering attractive nighttime tourism. We ask participants in the Campaign (the “Entrants”) to carefully read the following and agree to the terms and conditions before submitting an entry. Entrants will be considered to have accepted these terms and conditions (including the handling of personal information and entry notes) by submitting an entry to the Campaign. Please do not participate if you do not agree with these terms and conditions.

【Entry Method】

1. Please follow the official Instagram account of Tokyo Night Story (@tokyonightstory).
   * If you are already following the account, please continue to follow.
2. To enter the campaign, post a photo or video that you personally captured at night in Tokyo on Instagram as a Feed post or Reel. Your post must include the campaign hashtag #TokyoNightStoryCP and one of the route-specific area hashtags listed below.
   * Posts shared via Instagram Stories are not eligible.

   * Only photographs or videos that were actually taken in Tokyo are eligible. Entries created using generative AI are not eligible.
   * There is no limit to the number of entries per Entrant, but each Entrant can only win once. If we find that the same Entrant submitted multiple winning entries after the notice of the winning entry has been sent, only one will be considered eligible for a prize.
   * Each Instagram post counts as one entry, regardless of the number of photos or videos included in the post.
   * Photographs and text attached to the entry may be used in promotional media for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and TCVB, such as websites including “Tokyo Night Story,” pamphlets, posters, newspapers, and social media, as well as on related websites and media. In such cases, we may crop the photograph or use parts of the attached text. Thank you for your understanding.
   * Please note that entries made with posts using Instagram accounts set to “Private” or without the required hashtags will not be eligible for the Campaign.
   * Please include the hashtag in the text section of the post. Posts with hashtags attached only to comments will not be eligible for the Campaign.
   * Posts made after the beginning of the Campaign period will be eligible for the Campaign.
   * Hashtags are only effective if they are added at the time of posting or within 24 hours of posting, and during the Campaign period. Adding hashtags by editing a post after 24 hours have passed since the initial posting will not make it eligible for the Campaign.
   * Hashtags added to posts made before the Campaign period will not be eligible for the Campaign.
   * The campaign is open to amateur and professional photographers and creators of all nationalities, genders, and ages; however, participation is limited to residents of Japan. Participants under 18 years of age must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before entering. Any entry submitted by a person under 18 years of age will be deemed to have been submitted with such consent. Individuals under 13 years of age are not eligible to enter.

【Prizes】
We will give away ¥3,000 Amazon Gift Cards to 10 selected participants by lottery and send them by mail.

【Eligibility Requirements】
・Instagram account holder (aged thirteen or older)
* If you do not have an account, create one on the official Instagram website (https://www.instagram.com) to make an entry.
・Individuals living in Japan.
・Individuals who agree with these terms and conditions
・Individuals with Instagram accounts set to “Public”.

* Entries must be submitted with original works for which the Entrant possesses all rights, including copyrights. Specifically, images from other websites, social media platforms, blogs, and similar sources must not be used, as this could infringe on rights such as copyrights. Additionally, entries containing photographs of people must have their permission to use their likeness. If any issues arise with a third party regarding an entry, the Entrant will be solely responsible for all actions, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and TCVB will not be liable in any way.

【Announcement of Winners】
The Tokyo Night Story Campaign Office (the “Office”) will contact winners via an Instagram message. Please enter your contact information (name, address, etc.) using the Prize Delivery Address Entry Form.
If information provided by a participant is found to violate the eligibility requirements or any other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, the entry and any prize award may be declared invalid.
* Winners are expected to be announced in late August 2026, but the announcement could be made earlier or later depending on the situation. We appreciate your understanding.
* If no information is entered on the Prize Delivery Address Entry Form by the date specified in the winning notice, the winner will be considered to have forfeited the prize.
* Winning notice will not be resent.
* Please note that changing the username for the Instagram account after making an entry for the Campaign may cause messages, including the winning notice, to fail to be delivered.
* The Instagram communication is set as send-only from the Office, and you cannot reply to the message. We appreciate your understanding.
* Entrants are not allowed to transfer their prize rights for the Campaign to anyone else.
* Prize delivery address must be in Japan. Delivery is scheduled for early-September 2026, but it could be earlier or later depending on circumstances.

【Entry Notes】
・In principle, copyright of the photograph will belong to the Entrant even after the entry is submitted. However, the photograph may be used, posted, reproduced, and shared with the public, among other uses, without compensation and for an indefinite period.The Entrant shall not make any claims based on moral rights against the Tokyo Metropolitan Government or TCVB.
・Regarding the use by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and TCVB mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the Entrant agrees that the entry photograph may be cropped, edited, or modified—such as by adding graphic effects, music, or audio effects—without needing permission from the Entrant.
・Copyrighted works and likenesses used in the entry must be those for which the Entrant has all rights, including copyrights and rights to the likeness, or those for which prior permission for use has been obtained from the rights holder. If the subject of the entry includes people, the Entrant is responsible for ensuring no rights to the likeness are violated, such as by obtaining consent from them. If the subject is underage, entries are limited to those with permission from the guardian. Additionally, if the subject includes shrines, temples, or commercial facilities, prior necessary approval must be obtained. Please avoid submitting photographs that include any content deemed against public order and standards of decency. Also, do not submit photographs that contain addresses or contact information.
・Taking photographs of a third-party copyrighted work and modifying or combining that material may violate intellectual property rights, including copyright. Please obtain prior approval from the rights holder.
・If any legal issues arise regarding an entry, the Entrant shall be solely responsible for resolving all such issues, and neither the Tokyo Metropolitan Government nor TCVB shall be held liable in any way.
・The winning entry may be invalidated if there is an act that violates the entry terms and conditions or otherwise goes against public order and standards of decency; libel, slander, or acts that cause disadvantages to other entrants; if the entrant is deemed to be antisocial forces (or the equivalent); or for other reasons considered inappropriate by TCVB.
・The Entry Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Japanese law, and all disputes regarding the Entry Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by the Tokyo District Court, which shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
・The winning rights may not be transferred or exchanged for money.
・The Office may revise the Entry Terms and Conditions and take all necessary measures to ensure the proper operation of the Campaign, when it deems necessary.
・When entering the Campaign, the Entrant must follow the Office’s operating methods and shall not raise any objections to the method of operation.
・The Campaign is organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and TCVB, and inquiries regarding the Campaign should be directed to the Office. Amazon will not respond to inquiries.

Additionally, Meta is not involved in any way regarding participation in or the prizes of the Campaign, and the Entrants are deemed to have agreed to this.
・When using Instagram, its terms of use will apply separately. Please confirm at your own responsibility before using.
・TCVB shall not be held liable in any way for any damages caused by maintenance or failures of services provided by Instagram, or for the suspension or cancellation of the Campaign. The content of the Campaign may be revised without notice.

【Prohibited Matters】
・Posts that fall under any of the following are prohibited. Entries containing such posts will be deemed invalid.
(1) Posts that violate, or are likely to violate, laws, regulations, public order, standards of decency, or the provisions of the Entry Terms and Conditions.
(2) Posts that infringe on, or are likely to infringe on, copyrights, other intellectual property rights, rights to the likeness, privacy rights, or other rights or interests of third parties.
(3) Posts that are considered offensive by third parties due to obscenity, cruelty, discrimination, or similar reasons.
(4) Posts that are libelous, slanderous, or cause disadvantages to other entrants.
(5) Posts that are libelous or slanderous against the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, TCVB, or others.
(6) Posts made for the purpose of generating profits.
(7) Posts that solicit criminal or dangerous acts.
(8) Posts containing address or contact information.
(9) Posts considered to be automated entries made using programs, etc., by the Office.
(10) Posts that are otherwise considered inappropriate in light of the purpose of the Campaign by TCVB.
・Entries will also be invalidated if there is unauthorized access to the Campaign website, unlawful acquisition of Instagram accounts, or other illegal acts committed during entry into the Campaign.

【Handling of Personal Information】
・TCVB will strictly manage personal information collected through the Campaign, using it solely for campaign-related communication, prize distribution, activities such as implementation, operation, promotion, advertising of the Campaign, and incidental purposes. It will also be used to prepare anonymized statistical data, complying with the scope permitted under applicable laws and regulations including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. The data will not be used for any other purposes. Please understand that certain data, like Exif information, may be disclosed to third parties such as sponsor companies after statistical processing and analysis of anonymized data, ensuring individuals are not identified.
・Personal information collected through the Campaign will not be disclosed to third parties without the Entrant’s consent, except for announcing winners and showcasing their work; outsourcing to third-party vendors for implementation, operation, promotion, and advertising activities related to the Campaign; and as otherwise required by law.
